What is the Well Woman Check?

This is a comprehensive test providing a window into your health. It will provide a baseline on your current health which you can repeat for comparison at a later date. Your blood contains an array of markers related to your health, including diabetes (HbA1c), arterial plaque build-up and risk of coronary heart disease (cholesterol and associated markers), liver and kidney function (proteins such as urea and bilirubin), gout risk (uric acid) and iron-deficiency anaemia (iron and associated markers). The Well Woman check tests all of the above and also checks for female hormone balance, including follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinising hormone (LH).

Why take the test?

This test provides information on a variety of biological markers including a blood count, cholesterol, female hormones and iron levels. The test can be used to monitor and track female health over time.

Just order a test online and get your kit delivered right to your door unless you are ordering a COVID-19 Fit to Fly test where you will be given appointment options to attend our clinics across the United Kingdom for a nose and throat swab PCR test at the checkout stage.

Take your test and post

Follow our simple instructions to take your sample and post back the enclosed prepaid envelope to our accredited lab for processing. We also offer home or workplace visits by a qualified nurse. For COVID-19 Fit to Fly tests you must attend one of our partner clinics for our trained collection officers to take your sample. You will then have the results emailed to you.
