What is the enteric organism rapid antigen detection test?
This test looks for the presence of bacterial, viral and parasitic infection in the digestive tract (enteric infection). Enteric infections usually cause symptoms such as diarrhoea, abdominal pain and cramping, and nausea. Diarrhoea may lead to dehydration and is responsible for many deaths in young children.
